Lol! That's what i've been thinking this morning, the Caro - Al comparison will have to take at some point. Gabriella, if ambitious, can pull an Antoinette, lol

ROFL first mention in media of IVF I am aware of and of course the fact that he is already a pathetic father to 2 other children.

Gabriella, if ambitious, can pull an Antoinette, lol well, if Albert dies earlier than the 18th birthday of his son, there will be need of a regent. Caro may decline due to her then age and instate Andrea. And who knows if he takes a liking to the job and refuses to give it back to a young inexperienced Jacques. And we don't know if Jacques will inherit his fathers reluctance and incompetence or if he will put up a fight...

www.blickamabend.ch/people/albert-und-charlene-im-baby-glueck-monaco-jubelt-ueber-gabriella-und-jacques-id3339368.htmlBlick states that the new chief press officer Nicolas Saussier told Gala that the first pics of the twins will already be taken in hospital and will be published soon. (I can't find the original Gala article maybe it hasn't been published yet.) Blick says that CC was hospitalized in the afternoon and looking at the pic of PA arriving at the hospital the caption also says afternoon but the pic was posted online at 6 p.m. It was a planned c-section that's for sure but if PA was at the birth?! I doubt it... Paca, I agree that the twins got decent names. But I think Jacques is quite nice and seems to be also very popular. I have two friends who named their sons Jacques not so long ago. On the other hand I don't like Gabriella very much. IMO Marie Thérèse Antoinette Grimaldi would have been much better. It sounds better. Thank God they didn't end up with "weird" names like the kids of Mary and Fred... Valdemar... It always reminds me of Voldemort...

Gabriella reminds me of Isabella, but Isabella seems a little bit more...trash? It's a nice name but, i don't know...i don't know if it fits for a princess. Let alone a scandinavian princess. As for the rest of the names, i got them mixed up. I always think "Gabriella Marie Therese" when it's "Therese Marie"...if the order was like i mixed, i could have thought that they named her after Mother Theresa or something, lol.
I would like to see the pics. We won't get to see any resemblance to any of the parents yet, but i'm curious to see what they look like.

I mean Rainier was overweight and a heavy smoker all his life and he died at the age of 81 (nearly 82). He has had all sorts of medical problems for years and several operations but he lived. PA's only problem so far is his weight. As far as I know he doesn't drink or smoke. With drink I mean more than the usual glass of wine which he more or less has to drink during all the official dinners and stuff.

Honestly, i don't know who will survive who, Albert or Trashlene. Trashy might be 20 years younger, but with all that crap that she has in her system, plus a certain tendency to drink alcohol (which i believe she will fall into this later when she sees her life is getting miserable by the minute...) Albert might live till his 80s, but we can't be sure anyway. Andrea has been there yestarday visiting Trashy Pic of Andrea arriving

Absolutely LOVE the vintage white Merc!! You go, Andrea!! Meanwhile, none of the big British papers have anything on the birth. I even suspect the Independent is running this mild shock story about Princess Michael of Kent dissing breastfeeding as provocation: CC, if you're wondering, you need a pump when you have fake boobs...Honestly, i don't know who will survive who, Albert or Trashlene. I think Spiegel stated that she was admitted at 10.00h and Albert visited in the afternoon. Given the time of birth and knowing the procedure in CHPG, I sincerely doubt she was admitted in the afternoon for a c section. Only with an emergency c section they would have skipped procedure, but since this was scheduled 10 in the morning is plausible. It gives them time to monitor the heartbeats and get the bloodwork done in the lab. I believe hers was expedidited, mine took 8 hours. Still, thee are things that need to be checked and done and that takes time. There were a lot of people involved in this birth. With mine it was at least 20 so I don't think it was any less with her. There were at least 6 doctors present plus midwives, nurses etc. that takes organization. And although it was planned etc. it's a hospital, they are doctors and there may always be an emergency that has to take precednce. Also her epidural would take time to kick in, so my guess is that 10.00 was the latest to get things properly done. She probably was in the OR by 16.00 for the epidural, then they start, get the babies, stitch her up (which actually takes a while) and put her in the wake up room. So I suppose she was in her room not before 18.00.

With drink I mean more than the usual glass of wine which he more or less has to drink during all the official dinners and stuff. he has had cancer removed from his skin on several occasions and sth in his armpit. some kind of cycst. So he has had things as well and for a number of years already. The cyst was while I still lived there. He passive smoke with both his sisters, his wife, nephews and nieces and practically all of his other relations. So him personally not smoking doesn't mean anything as everyone around him does. As to drinking, well he has wine with his meals and he doesn't stop at one glass as I remember from the times I was present. He also doesn't say no when it is offered during functions and he attends loads of them. When there was food and drink on offer and he was there he would always dig in. And not just out of politeness. Don't forget there is a lot of social drinking in MC. and when I say a lot, it really is a lot. Most people there would be labelled alcoholics in other parts of the world.

Thanks for the info, mrszinck. Paca, I wanted to ask you about the procedures at the CHPG but you were faster. Thanks. So it seems PA was at least in the hospital during the c-section. We don't know if he was at the birth though. Apart from the names they got one thing right then. I'm sure CC's mom was there as she's the only friend CC has in Monaco...

if everything is planned - and I believe that - why Albert was not earlier with Charlie?
Now he speaks of his beloved wife (ugh); no news about the weight or that everyone is safe and sound. You know - what a strange announcement...

I'm not even Christian, but think it's an insult to Jesus Christ. Omg.. I am a Catholic and I definitely am offended how people who live less-than-Christian lives evoke the name of Jesus. Fat Al has no conscious and no soul.

Ok, I'm back! I think I'm addicted... The presentation of the twins will take place on January 7, 2015. It will be a holiday and the palace wants people in Monaco to decorate their homes with flags.
