What’s he saying? Something new? More news? Eringer has alluded to more infor coming on his blog about this case. Maybe the girl has her very own version of the Monica Lewinski "Blue Dress"! I wonder if The Palace tried to "pay her off" and when that didn't work, they decided a wedding announcement and up coming wedding would deflect the story and show PA is a man "in love" - so why would he "rape" someone . Of course, it never occurred to them their big "wedding of the century" scheme would fail - I wonder what will happen now!? ;D

I'm so interested in seeing how this plays out. If this is true not even the wedding will be change all the bad PR that Albert is going to get.

The timing of this woman is quite suspicious. If it's the same woman that Eringer described in his court documents; it means that it happened in 2004 or 2005. One may think why now, after so many years this woman tries to bring matter to courts.
If I remember the story correctly it was like that: This was a woman from Nice. She was writing book for children. She met Albert at some party. He promised her a help with publishing her book. Albert also invited her for a weekend or a few day trip on yacht. This woman took a suitcase with her knowing she would spend a few days with PA on yacht. When she came on board she was surprised that PA's aid took her suitcase to a room that turned out to be occupied by Albert. When PA saw her entering his room he put his finger on his lips. (Sic!) The woman told she was frightened to refuse Albert and he raped her. Albert later involved Eringer to help this woman publish her book. Albert was not interested in progress of the book. When Eringer wanted to tell PA about the book's progress, PA told about this woman" I'm done with her." That woman wrote a letter for Eringer in English and French where she described all events. Robert Eringer included this letter in his lawsuit against PA as evidence that he worked for Albert.
My opinion: If it is the same woman, she was not raped. She knew she was going to a trip on yacht and she was willing to spent at least few nights on this trip; she took suitcase. So, she was not kidnapped. What did she expect? She didn’t mind travel ling and spending overnight with the guy she barely knew, she agreed to go on trip after meeting him at party, so immediately after meeting him. ‘Common she was adult. BTW, she dated Albert for several months or weeks according to Eringer. Would you go on date again with a man who just raped you? Or dated him a few weeks/months? After this yacht trip Albert asked Eringer to help to publish her book for children. She still asked Albert for help in publishing her book after alleged rape. Shouldn’t she rather run away than continue dating a rapist or getting his help with book? Now, what made her waiting so many years? Why coming up now, when Albert is near his wedding?
I don’t try to defend Albert, just try to add facts, and those facts don’t add up . BTW, Eringer was sympathizing with this Nice woman and all the facts I know are through Eringer. But even those facts presented by someone who liked and believed her like Eringer don’t make her looking like a rape victim. JMO.

The story is up. Seems that Blue J has got the story right. A combination of the above story and Eringer's basically shows that there a two sides to every story, depending on what you leave out and what not.
I'm interested to see if the tabloids will pick this story up.

What on earth did Grace and Rainier raise? And I hope Prince Guillaume stays far away from him.

Blue_j I'm going to have to disagree with you on this one. If I remember the story correctly it was like that: This was a woman from Nice. She was writing book for children. This woman took a suitcase with her knowing she would spend a few days with PA on yacht. After this yacht trip Albert asked Eringer to help to publish her book for children. She still asked Albert for help in publishing her book after alleged rape. Shouldn’t she rather run away than continue dating a rapist or getting his help with book? She went with him on the yacht, so yes, I'm sure there were expectations from his side. Whether she was aware of that is anyone's guess, she may have been too flattered to be invited along to figure it out. Regardless of that - if she didn't want to sleep with him at any point, this makes it sexual assault. She can have been lying naked on the bed with her hand on little Albert, it's still her right to change her mind and say no, and it's her right to expect him to stop even if she doesn't start kicking and screaming to get the point across. There's no "leading him on", there's no "she had to know the expectations", there's no "but she went along with it until then". No means no, and if he doesn't understand such a simple word, then calling him a bastard is an understatement. The dating afterwards... who knows what went down there. And the help with the book may well have been an attempt to keep her quiet. But if she ever found herself in a situation with him where she said no and it didn't stop him, then it's rape, never mind what came before or after. Sorry to be preaching, but this is a topic that gets me up in arms whenever the "but she knew what to expect" argument comes up. No means no, there are no mitigating circumstances. But I can only too well imagine Albert not getting that fact, or to be far too used to playing the "do you know who I am? Now shut up and play nice" card.

chriss is correct Blue j. Legally and morally - If a woman says "No" that's it.
Yes, she's a dope for putting herself in that position - but maybe at first she thought she might go to bed with him - then she saw Fat Al naked and freaked - I would! ;D (although back in '04-05 he was still pretty thin.)
But still - no matter what her reasons were - No means No! If a man doesn't stop = legally - at least in the US - it's rape.
But I agree - why now- this is really strange.

I think we should be careful how much we publish here but refer people to the full account posted on Eringer. It is not his formspring blog but his regular information threads. Just type in Eringer. It's the one where he uses his MIS badge. The full account by this woman is truly frightening. The "three-some" event echos what the playboy playmate said on her blog about her encounter with Albert. Her name is Victoria and last name began with a Z. She's now a sex therapist (well she does have experience!). Eringer is now looking for other women who might have been date raped.

I agree with Chriss and CM on this one - NO means NO! "She should have known what to expect" is the same justification that people used for Mike Tyson when a naive 18 year went to his hotel room in the wee hours of the woman and he brutally raped her. Please read the Elsa Caselli's story for yourself on Eringer's blog. Honestly, I still haven't made my mind up about what to believe. However, I can DEFINITELY understand why the woman wouldn't have ran to the police. Please understand rape is one of the least reported crimes in the world, so please do not be surprised that a woman would not report that a billion head of state Sovereign Prince rape her! Also Bluej, where did you read that the woman dated Albert after the allegedly attack? The full story you mention is not in Eringer's suit, I just pulled it out and read it and this is all that he mentions about the incident. We need to be careful before we just assume this as a fact. Rape is too serious of a charge for both the supposedly victim and supposedly attacker. But, IF she did date Albert afterward, she has lost all credibility since she is now claiming it was a violent attack. From page 8 of the 165-page complaint file on 5 October 2009.

Yes, it is really strange. The report on Internet before it has been in court? Who try to make it unusable???
My opinion: no publication / writing on Internet. First guilty verdict / not guilty verdict.

Not every girl/woman is street smart. Why would any one think they were going to sleep with Albert when they got on that yacht? Spending a weekend on a yacht does not mean you have to sleep with any one. If she was given a date rape drug and she was not a willing participant, then it's rape. The lure was Prince Albert. What woman would think a Prince would rape her? If I were young, I might not suspect I'd be raped on a yacht either. Sadly there are many uber wealthy guys who take advantage of woman simply because they can. Albert's ego is such that he feels he is above the law, after all "It's good to be King". There are no repercussions for his actions, except Tamara and Nicole. At this point, I'm kinda glad they made him recognize the kids although these two were willing participants. Still their actions are one of the few times Albert's actions have had consequences. The Yacht girl photos adds substance to what this girl was saying about Albert, women and yachts. The girls in the photos were very young women. The man has serious problems. Donna a few years ago found and article about Albert and prostitutes only I don't remember where he was at the time. May be Donna can remember where she read it?
You can see why Albert's flunkies like CW. She was willing to do any thing to get the title. JMO

First guilty verdict / not guilty verdict. The woman said that she does not expect them to press charges and this is why she filed the report. She wants it to be "on record". She is trying to protect other women from getting on yachts.

Sorry, who are them? Why can the woman herself not press charges? I think she need a lawyer, and go to the court. So she gets it ‘on record’ and it will be in the news.

Donna a few years ago found and article about Albert and prostitutes only I don't remember where he was at the time. May be Donna can remember where she read it? Hibou, there has been several reports of Albert with prostitutes, even since dating Charlene. There were women in Romania who stated that the concierge found them for Albert. Also in March 2007, a very respectable Swedish journalist wrote how Albert had invited two of her friends to come up to his hotel rooms (they turned him down and tis why these women on their blog have little respect for Charlene and this relationship because they know Albert has no problems cheating on her - and she must know it). Unfortunately as I stated before, all my older files are on another computer that I don't have access to right now. Hibou, That's an understatement! I'm telling you all, the poster Esther was telling the truth about Albert and Charlene's relationship. Almost everything has come to pass and the world will eventually find out just how nasty and disgusting this so-called fairy tale romance really is.

As I stated, I honestly do not know what to believe which is a marked difference than how I felt before about Albert because when I first heard the story I didn't think Albert would rape anyone. so, I am trying to form an informed opinion. Elsa states, "Albert and I had met once before only, at a reception in Cannes. He had told me that he might be able to help me with a children's book I was illustrating, and that's why I agreed to join the boating party, at Francesco Bongiovanni's invitation." So, if she only met Albert at a reception in Cannes prior to the boating incident, where and more importantly when was this photo taken of her with Albert (her supposed rapist) and Francesco (the man who lured her to him)? If I was violently raped in which I was "in fear of my life" and "psychologically scarred," I wouldn't be posing with my rapist and his assistant.

Sorry, who are them? Why can the woman herself not press charges? I think she need a lawyer, and go to the court. So she gets it ‘on record’ and it will be in the news. First Albert has diplomatic immunity. Second, the police in that area and pressure from Albert's people (think IOC turning blind eye). Keep in mind it isn't like the US judicial system over there, and pressing charges against some one so powerful is truly frightening. There are many cases even in the US where women have been taken advantage of by powerful men who did not report it. I understand your skepticism but this woman sounds truly traumatized. We also don't know how old she is and fear plays a big part. It may have taken her 5 years to be able to come forward. She said she has been in counseling. Many women do not report rapes of this nature. Given Albert's track record, it's more believable than not. Look what Monica Lewinsky went through and she was a willing participant. The woman could have reported this years ago. We are assuming this is new news. Perhaps it's something Eringer had and has chosen now to put on his blog? As for posing with a rapist after the event, it is another tactic to quiet and discredit the woman. Her willingness to go along with the photo could be the mental state she was in. The burden of proof always lies with the woman. If it weren't Albert but some wealthy business man with huge sums of money, would we look at this any differently. Again with the title Prince, who would believe her? JMO

It states: A French woman has filed a complaint with police in Nice, France, asserting that she was sexually assaulted byPrince Albert II of Monaco.
Elsa CASELLI, 35, tells ERINGER she does not expect police to prosecute, but she wishes to establish, for the record, her mistreatment. The victim does not have the power to "press charges" - they file a complaint (which Elsa has FINALLY done) to the police (who investigates the claims) and it is the prosecutor who makes the decision based on the evidence given to them whether they will actually press charges against the accused.

OMG!! This might be true, however I'm asking myself: a) It happened how many years ago? Why does she come up with it now?
b) Why is Eringer involved? Why didn't she file that claim simply in Nice? (Or did she and I missed this point ?)
c) She has an art-exhibition in Monaco right now? If I were raped and lived in another country - I would not like to have an exhibition in the country ruled by the man who did that to me. Especially not when I just filed a claim and all this became "fresh" again.
