I think it's more embarrassing that your husband is desperate to divorce you because he can't stand you then if he fell in lust/love with another woman. I wonder why he didn't want to just live separate lives instead of divorcing? Sorry to get off topic.

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D- Mercedes has always been quite the operator - so, she didn't "turn" into anything different than she already always was - she just let the curtain down on her act and when Sid saw the real person he tried to maintain - but in the end he wanted peace. I have no idea what the hell she does with men that they find this woman so appealing. Personally I always thought she kind of looked like Minnie Mouse. My late husband was sure she did something "kinky" with those big teeth of hers. He never understood her appeal at all. I used to say that she must slowly and gently nibble their balls off. ;D ;D ;D ;D Ain't life grand! : And now it will cost him between $200 - $400M (or more) AGAIN! ;D

Well, Fran Kellogg was a pretty good friend - for years- totally platonic - and I can safely say he seemed to only be turned on to woman with foreign accents. He was married, and adored Mercedes Kellogg Bass who divorced him for Sid Bass. Sid was married to Ann Bass and left her for Mercedes. (Ann is a big supporter of the ballet). Sid and Mercedes subsequently married and still are. Fran was a wonderful man - I felt very badly for him when Mercedes left him (I think she did too). Charming, fun and very intelligent. Don't think I ever met this Gunilla woman. (But that doesn't mean she's making it up.) Don't know about anything what she may have had with PA. A few days ago Sid and Mercedes announced that they would be divorcing. She never looked happy in any of the photos I saw of her; neither did he. Interesting article from a while back: www.newyorksocialdiary.com/node/1904586

Maybe Charlene will make more public appearances once Kate makes more public appearances. I think she views Kate as competition.

Biting column from Richard Kay: /// Just days after saying she will carry out her royal role her way, the spirited Princess Charlene of Monaco is again troubling minds in the principality. The former Olympic swimmer has, I hear, taken to the hills as she struggles to adjust to a goldfish-bowl life. Charlene has been staying extensively at Roc Agel, a Grimaldi family farmhouse, where she has been joined by her mother. It has meant her missing several key charity events. Mother and daughter, I am told, have cut forlorn figures in the village of La Turbie, where they have been spotted dining at a small bistro, La Cave Turbiasque. South African-born Charlene has found life difficult in Prince Albert’s official residence, the cavernous pink palace high above the Mediterranean. Last month I revealed Albert’s most trusted adviser Mme Christiane Stahl had quit because she was ignored by the princess. ‘Charlene appears bored with Monaco, which can be a claustrophobic place at times,’ says a long-time resident. ‘Her mother’s visit is being seen as significant sign that all is not well.’ /// Read more: www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2045041/RICHARD-KAY-Trainer-flies-French-spy-farce-.html#ixzz1ZpCZopRHI wonder if she'll try to take Roc Agel in the divorce?

Why wasn't she sitting next to Anna Wintour instead of her bodyguard. Was she afraid of outright rejection? Why was the bodyguard sitting in the front row? Surely he should have sat behind Charlene and not taken up such a coveted spot from those who were interested in the fashions. Bad form.

Perhaps polygamy will be Albert's next cause.

She looks like one of those spoiled rotten kids who, when they don't get their way, has a pouty mouth. Sooo glad to see the Grimaldis out and about and none of the Wittstock's.

Photos of Anissina's wedding ptichkafs.livejournal.com/30687.htmlShe and her husband have also put out some very, erm, graphic videos (birth of their first child and a video of them, um, getting ready to make another child. It may have shown everything but I turned it off before it got to that point). Rumor has it that Anissina's mother does not like the husband and puts the blame on him for the behavior and videos. Annissina looks terrified of her husband. He must have a very strong hold over her. But I don't think Albert would have married her though.

I have a feeling Albert doesn't mind what Nicole is doing.

You can see Gareth in the background. I wonder how many of the other Wittstocks are their since they are now part of the royal family themselves. Princely family, not royal family. Thankfully!

^Emmeline, If Caroline takes over, she will have one of her sons on the throne in probably 5 years, way before 'the heir' is an adult. She will want to let them get started, but be there if troubles ensue. Rainier should have done this and then he would have seen that Albert only wants to be Prince for the parties and attention. He has zero interest in the work involved. To me, Albert showed that he was not up for the job when he had not married and produced an heir by the time he was 40. That should have been the easiest part of the job, but he has shown his total incompetency by mucking that up. Once he failed to do that, Rainier should have looked for a new heir. Ranier could have done what Hans Adam of Liechtenstein has done by retaining his position of reigning prince, but handing most of his powers and responsibilities to his son. This allows him to step in and check his son since he's still the reigning prince. Of course Ranier could have done better, but he did the best he could. Albert should be ashamed of himself. As far as the Otto funeral, did they even invite the Monaco Princely Family? I wouldn't be surprised if they did not.
