I'll bet that Caroline wishes that she could have been with Charlotte in Paris on the night of Sept. 8th, rather than at the opera with the bipolar couple.

WHAT THE HELL did caro do to her hair, it looks scraped back with OMG are those tiny BRAIDS! or is it crimped.......either way GIRL GIRL GIRL get a grip, you are the last hope for elegance or style and you're going downhill fast DON"T give the crack smoking sugah loonies any room to talk or snipe about you. i repeat WTH!!!!! i'm all for offbeat or eccentric, but this outfit and hair are in dementia territory JMOJMO Sometimes when I see Caroline with a hairstyle or clothes that just seem a little off, I wonder if she lets Alex help her dress for the event and just has some fun. Caro can do much better with her hair. LOL, Countess! Doesn't this look like a fun group? The only one smiling is Albert which I take as full confirmation that he is an idiot and is clueless as to what is going on around him. Caroline looks like she wishes that Scotty would beam her back up to the Mother Ship. and Charlene! For someone who has steamrolled over a whole country to get her 'destiny' and 'tiara', she is one unhappy chipmunk. I also agree that she is either drugged or maybe so botoxed that she just has a blank expression. No smiles, no signs that she is in any way happy. Monaco needs to demand their money back on this flagship that they bought; it's a failure.

Albert has ignored Charlene's unpopularity (for many valid reasons) with people, and that is not ever going to Change. Actually, Albert believed that Charlene was popular with everyone but his people - and they were just jealous of her. Recall, Stephane Bern stated that the people in Monaco will eventually come around and like Charlene but Albert should listen to the international press who all love her. Albert really trusted Bern's opinion about the feel of the media (there's a recent article where Bern stated this and how Albert called him before the wedding to gauge the press). I will defend Albert about this - Albert really believed Charlene's promotional press that Charlene was the new Grace and she would return the princess Grace type glamour to Monaco. HE really believed it! Try to understand his position and how his very superficial mind thinks - Charlene was always in the press and on magazine covers - so Albert interpreted this as great popularity. IT was not just the press, but also his advisers and some friends who were encouraging him to marry Charlene for Monaco's financial and image boost sake, They have all mentioned this in interviews. On the day of the engagement announcement, Albert's media consult Jean-Luc Mano gave an interview and stated how this was the best thing for Monaco. Charlene boasted on the message boards how Albert's friends all think that he should marry her. Well, Charlene knows how to con people to do what she wants. She knows how to play up to people to have them believe how much she loves Albert and Monaco . Look how she flopped big time in trying to pull that con over on Pedro Almodóvar at her first Rose Ball (where she shoved Madame Galico away). Charlene is only good at suckering NEEDY people - those who want something from Monaco and/or Albert. Charlene is a con artist who suckered Albert into marrying her and now being kept in complete luxury for the rest of her life. Albert was too stupid to have his PR people look beyond the magazine covers and actually measure any impact Charlene had in the press. If they would have done this basic simple analysis, they would have found that NO ONE in the WORLD cared for Charlene and she would have zero or a negative impact on Monaco! Your people hate this woman for good reason you fool. MyaDia, didn't it ever occur to Albert that the only reason that Charlene was on the cover of any magazine was because she was dating him? Otherwise, Charlene would have been lucky to get her photo in the Wittstock family album. If Albert had been dated a mule, then the mule would have gotten its photo on the cover. The press has been waiting for over 30 years for Albert to marry, Charlene just happened to be the one he was dating. Otherwise Charlene would be back working in the convenience store in Benoni. The press only cared about Charlene because of Albert; same with Nicole.

I think that Charlene equates stubbornness with discipline, i.e., having discipline to achieve a goal that you have set. There is nothing attractive about being shown that you are wrong and yet stubbornly sticking to it. Some call it idiocy, some insanity; but it doesn't show class and it doesn't show intelligence.

I agree with both of you, but it is not only question of wasting money especially if is not yours, it is question of ones attitude. I have more problem with that. Agreed. Albert and Charlene spent all that money simply because they could. Just because you can do things, doesn't mean that you should. Albert and Charlene had their moral characters tested, and they failed - miserably. They are both incorrigible narcissists.

I assume that Kirsty speaks English as her first language and Charlene wanted someone she could talk to and someone who might understand her 'South African humor'.

What brand would hire these two as spokesmen? And that is how they have positioned themselves with regard to Monaco and how they justify the exorbitant cost of that wedding. Both need classes in speech and presentation. It is too painful to watch them speak or read an unpolished transcript of what they said. They come across as two people who do zero preparation for interviews. It is supposed to be enough that they show up for the interview. I would think that televised interviews for these two would dry up as what station wants to air something that it is clear viewers will reach for the remote and move on to another channel rather than go through the agony of watching these two speak. Is this the best that Monaco/the Grimaldis can do? No, there are other members who could do a much better job in promoting Monaco in interviews, but these two narcissists can't stand for anyone else to get attention. These two are too boring and inept to keep people's attention for long. (I'm starting to get really bored.) Note they are now attending karaoke nights to get attention (and promote Monaco) and remember he is a head of state.

I've been watching the Gadhafi story going on as I'm posting here, and I'm half expecting to see Albert and Charlene there in some footage running around ;D so they can take the opportunity to get some more camera time ;D. I think I saw the two dressed up like rebels, but Charlene has her Tiara on ;D....she's on her way to raid another palace. ;D I'm waiting for this stupid reporter to get shot as she stnads aroun in a hail of gunfire--maybe just the camera man just needs to show what is going on there--we don't need to see this woman's face . LOL We laugh because you are not far from the truth. ;D

The more I look at her the more I she reminds me of a rubber doll. Wasn't there a movie once where a guy fell in love with a rubber doll and in the end all his friends and the people around him took her for real? I ran out of comments on WC because there is only a limited amount of stuff you can say about nothing. KARMA! You have summed it up!

Exactly, smt. Charlene seems clueless as to what to wear to which events. Just a nice summer dress with sleeves and a back would have been fine. When Stephanie seems to have more fashion sense than you do, you need to seek help.

Here is an article in French about our favorite mismatched couple attending the 50th anniversary of the aquatic stadium. I don't read French very well any more, but really didn't get further than the picture of Charlene in another LONG gown. Seriously, this woman needs to get into therapy for all her image problems. Other guests at the event were dressed in what we call "dressy casual" and she is in a long gown covering her legs, but exposing her shoulders and back? If she is trying to get a reputation of being a clown and is dressing in her clown outfit, then she is succeeding admirably. www.purepeople.com/article/la-princesse-charlene-une-sirene-divine-et-passionnee-aupres-d-albert-de-monaco_a85816/1

French Blogs are reporting some of Charlotte's comments from her Vogue interview. About fashion, the face of Gucci remains modest: "I like the power of transformation that allows fashion. But it's not an obsession or a headache. Dress for me c is a way of honoring the people who invite me or my family. I never try to be spectacular. I want to be fair and respectful." [/blockquote][/quote] Charlene needs to type up copies of this quote from Charlotte and put them all around her dressing room. She is ignorant of this and it shows in the clothes that she chooses. Many of Charlene's outfits are disrespectful of the people she is meeting. Strapless outfits and long gowns in the daytime. She doesn't honor the people she was invited to meet nor does she honor her family. She is trash. Maybe Charlotte will give Charlene some lessons because she sure needs them. Again, Albert had all he needed to reignite interest in Monaco - his nieces and nephews, but he choose Charlene to be the 'most important person in Monaco'. What a sap!

The Mad for Monaco blogger has struck again. He reports the information in the article provided by MyaDia above (of course MyaDia was first and he probably cribbed from her work). Evidently, it never occurs to him that if Albert was successful in this bogus suit in France to shut Eringer up and take away his First Amendment rights, then someone, one day, may decide to shut Mad for Monaco up and use a similar tactic. On so many levels in this post, Mad for Monaco does the very things that he accuses Eringer of doing. "Mad for Monaco Anti-Monaco Blogger Busted
Justice has been served on the now legally certified liar and professional pain in the gluteus maximus from Los Angeles who has spent his retirement harassing the Prince of Monaco and pretty much anyone in any way connected with him. You may recall, the fellow in question tried to extort a million dollars from the Prince (claiming to be a “spy”) and then sued the Prince for breach of contract, a lawsuit that was swiftly slapped down. Since then this cranky old man with no life and a severe case of the ‘not gays’ with a burning obsession over our Sovereign Prince devoted his every waking hour to insulting, smearing and besmirching the character of the Prince and any and everyone around him. He also ‘carpet bombed’ every blog, forum and message board dealing with Monaco in an effort to spread his hate-filled rants and fling juvenile insults at anyone who dared to disagree with his accusations.
Well, the Prince kept it on the down low, as they say, but the story has now come out that Monaco’s most persistent internet enemy has been ordered by a French court (the Tribunal de Grande Instance de Paris) to pay Prince Albert 20,000 euros in damages and 7,000 euros in legal fees “for the publication of false and libelous materials”. In a separate case the crazed crank was ordered to pay 60,000 euros for six libelous attacks on Claude Palmero plus 3,000 euros in legal fees. In addition, he’s also been ordered to pay over 15,000 euros to Thierry Lacoste, personal lawyer of Prince Albert II, for the same reason. He was also ordered to pay 20,000 euros for two counts of slander against Andre Muhlberger along with 3,000 euros in legal fees. Three additional judgments were made against him to a tune of 30,000 euros in damages plus 9,000 in legal fees for attacks against Claudio Marzocco, Thierry Lacoste and Prince Albert II.
More judgments are to be expected in September, October and December, delayed so that the mud-slinger in question can present himself to the court and make his case. However, don’t hold your breath for that to happen as he’s ducked into his shell like a frightened turtle. Since the court ruled that he would have to pay an additional 5,000 euros per day for any offending material remaining on his blog he quickly removed it but while still protesting his innocence of course and how, despite the legal findings, still claiming everything he says is “true”. His blog now mostly consists of advertisements for his own books. He has also refused to accept his summons to court and refused every effort at communication by the court. Which of course is exactly what someone would do who is being unjustly accused right? No, there is no way this guy is getting anywhere near a court of law unless he is dragged in in handcuffs. However, it is safe to say that he will not be visiting the continent of Europe any time soon -at least not willingly, and his war of insults against the Principality of Monaco has been muzzled.
The leading liar and captain in the tin-foil hat brigade seems very worried about the findings against him despite his assertions that it is all false and the courts have no jurisdiction over him (why remove the stuff from the website then?) and has put a halt to his war of words with Monaco. However, that does not mean he has turned over a new leaf and decided to become a happy, laid back retired gentlemen. No, it just means he has taken to flinging juvenile insults at the news outlet which released the information about the judgments against him. That would be the article here. As they say, a leopard cannot change his spots and neither can a cranky old man with skin thin enough to see through. To sum up: Prince Albert -1, cranky media whore -0."

no idea about her past adventures but i'm on record, i bet her past makes heather mills look like a good person. it'll come out when it will make the most money for the secret holders JMO she's trash nothing would surprise me I agree, Countess. The only reason that Charlene is "scandal-free" is simply that the press hasn't reported it yet. But with the runaway bride story going, the people who know the truth about this scam artist are going to come forward and start talking and the press is prepared to hear it and report it.

I caught this comment in an article plugging Charlotte's Vogue cover. "Unlike her fashion-fearful aunt, however, Casiraghi has jumped into the fashion industry headfirst, sitting front row at runway shows and working with Gucci's Frida Giannini on her equestrian uniforms." I thought Charlene was THE Princess of Fashion, but now she is fashion-fearful? Here's the link: www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/08/15/charlotte-casiraghi-cover_n_926524.htmlCharlene is going to find it hard to compete with Charlotte I think, and the reason I use the word compete is because Charlene entered Monaco with the intent to make everything a competition to win.

Wearing these long gowns all the time is just weird. She must do it to stand out from the other women at the event, but she just looks inappropriately dressed. Not much of a Princess of Fashion; how many people will copy her weird style?

^This photo is scary to me. And since Albert was right there and saw her live and in the flesh, he must like women who are manly. I am really curious if this "woman" is able to get pregnant and carry a child.

I wonder how hard the paparazzi will try to snap photos of Albert with women other than Charlene, particularly ones he is known to have had a relationship with, just to show how he isn't obeying his beauty queen. My question for Charlene from reading these articles is why did you wait until you were married before you told him to stop fooling around with other women? Most women would have demanded fidelity BEFORE marriage. By waiting to put the foot down, Charlene is confirming MyaDia's theories. Also, when will Albert get tired of Charlene telling him what to do? He gives the impression that he has spent his entire adult life doing just what pleases him; I don't see that changing anytime soon.
;D
