Didn't Caroline and her children go with Albert last year? Wonder where they are now; he is all alone.

They included a picture with those horrid gloves from National Day! That should have gotten her thrown off the list by itself. Obviously, this list is FOR SALE and Charlene bought a spot.

Hibou, I linked the two of the articles over on Charlene's news thread. The information in this book is eery when thinking of Charlene, but it did give me hope that she cannot procreate and that there will be an end to her someday.

So what you are saying, MyaDia, is that Charlene could have put her exhibit over in the Grimaldi Forum with the other royal exhibits, but she knew that the Ocean Museum is the most popular in Monaco so she glommed on to it and pushed her exhibit in with the marine things, even though the wedding has nothing similar to what the Ocean Museum normally exhibits. So visitors who truly want to see the exhibits that the Ocean Museum has, have to see fewer things so that Charlene can get an attention fix. Once again, Albert and Charlene have to glom onto what someone has accomplished through hard work. How pathetic.

^ These loonies are so illogical. According to this poster, the Grimaldis are trash and Charlene is all superlatives. Then why did Charlene lower herself to marry Albert? Charlene's flunkies should be mad that she tied herself to such a trashy, low-class family. That is, if she is as great and wonderful as they claim. If what the loonies say is true, I ask that they explain to me why the great and wonderful Charlene married Albert, who is so beneath her and makes her associate with Caroline and Stephanie who are both just trash that breathes? (I see the color green in the answer.) I have learned that when someone points to someone who they see as their enemy and asserts certain characteristics on that enemy, they are actually describing themselves and their motives. Clearly this poster knows that Charlene should not even be in the same room as the Grimaldis with their flaws and all. Not even to be the wait staff. Charlene is one mentally sick person and hopefully, she is AIS (or whatever it is) and cannot procreate. Her hatred and that of her flying monkey flunkies (thanks Countess) needs to die with her.

Nothing good will come from destroying perfectly good things.
They might hear a big YES if they said that the proceeds would go to reimburse the Monegasques for giving them such an expensive wedding.

Here's an article about the ball on the popular blog - Dlisted. It is absolutely hilarious! However, this article is not for the faint of heart and Charlene's loonie flunkies, thus if your heart is faint then definitely do not read the many comments. Seriously, this article is a typical American response to the circus going on in Monaco and shows how ridiculous it is for Albert and his morons working for him who thought that Charlene was going to be a big hit in the U.S. I guess Charlene's peeps didn't hit this blog with their comments as they did Just Jared.
Princess Stephanie's "This Is Not Going To End Well" Side-Eye Says It AllPosted by: Michael K Sunday, August 7th 2011 (
After seeing the video of them getting out of the cars and Stephanie and Caroline coming up to greet Albert and Charlene and then seeing pictures of the decor, I really wondered if once Stephanie saw Charlene she thought, "shit, she matches my tablecloths". She really does have a look on her face that says she is anticipating something bad happening. And it seemed that she got this look right when she saw Charlene outside the venue.

I don't know where to post this article from the Daily Mail and hope that I am not duplicating someone else's post. Here goes: This is an article reviewing a recently published book about Wallis Simpson, Duchess of Windsor. I found some of the information in this article relates to discussions that this forum and others have had regarding Charlene. I found several similarities between Wallis and Charlene and thought that others might want to read this. It was thought-provoking for me. www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2023050/Was-Wallis-Simpson-woman-New-evidence-speculates-sexual-make-up.html

This is a total car wreck ... we can't help but look! Sadly, Charlene thinks we look because we admire .... while we all know that we look because we mock such poor behavior. The only thing royal about this couple is that they are royal jack asses! LOL - you got that right!

Ya'll are all misjudging Charlene. Remember her Mom's house there in SA and how well it was decorated and kept. I'm sure that Charlene will do a bang up job. LOL (As I said, we are going from RETCH to RETCH with this chick. I don't know how much longer I can watch. Going forward, I may just stay in the Caroline threads.)

You are correct, MyaDia, about Charlene not wanting any A-listers to push her out of the limelight, but there soon will not be any limelight at all if all anyone gets at a Monaco ball is Charlene and Gareth and Mama Wittstock. Who gives a crap about any of them? Charlene is probably in the 14th minute of her 15 minutes of fame. There is an article on the Vanity Fair website about Prince Andrew's problems and how the Queen has tried to protect him. In the article, the reporter related an incident at a London fashion show where Charlotte Casiraghi introduced herself to Princess Eugenie: People who have spent time with Andrew’s daughters, Beatrice and Eugenie, come away impressed by their warmth and unpretentious nature. “At a fashion show, I was sitting with Eugenie,” said Richard Dennen, a style writer for The Sunday Times, “and Charlotte Casiraghi, the daughter of Caroline of Monaco and the granddaughter of Grace Kelly, showed up, dressed in cool French chic. She introduced herself to Eugenie in the most impeccable French: ‘Hello, I am Charlotte.’ And Eugenie replied, ‘Hi, I’m Eug,’ which came out sounding like ‘Hi, I’m Huge.’ It was typical old-squire braying English, completely old school, and it was charming.” Here is the link: www.vanityfair.com/society/features/2011/08/prince-andrew-201108?currentPage=1I took this that the writer was impressed with Charlotte's elegance and manner. Albert has three people (with a fourth on the way) who could be the flagship of Monaco and who would attract tons of attention, but being petty, he would rather place his bets with Charlene and Gareth. What an idiot!

Seeing the photos and videos and reading the articles in this thread made me think more of a wake than a ball. A wake marking the end of Monaco as an international destination and its return to just another community that happens to be on the French Riviera. Charlene is not much of a flagship. When she and Albert walked in, their entourage was pathetic; hip-hop rappers can do much better. Only Caroline, Stephanie, Elizabeth, Melanie, Gareth, and bimbo. In years past there has been a sprinkling of royals, business men/women and celebrities that are successful at some industry or craft. Now four blood relatives of Albert and two leeches that Charlene drags around. Gareth is a total embarrassment to Albert as anyone can see that he is there to take handouts, just a grifter. Poor Stephanie smiled some, but really gave the impression that she would rather be anywhere but where she was. Who knows exactly why Caroline showed up; I had figured she would pass as she has in year's past. Maybe she felt that since she is next in line, she should perform her duty and show up. It was telling that none of her adult children were there and also none of their young friends. The age of the attendees did have more of a feel of a senior citizens condo dance in Florida than an international ball that used to be the social event of the season for southern France. Certainly doesn't exude an atmosphere that would attract visitors to the principality. Charlene clearly did not have any input in the organization of the ball (why would I think that she would do anything productive?) or she is an idiot. Who would purposely choose a dress that looks like extra material from the tablecloths? And that hairstyle! Who tells her that it looks good? To me, her hair looks like it hasn't been washed in days. It makes her look old. And too much makeup. I'm having a hard time believing that Albert cannot see this woman as she truly is unless he is into transvestites. Also, memo to Charlene: at balls when you are married to the Prince, it is assumed that the two of you will dance together, alone on the dance floor. Get some dance lessons! That standing on the dance floor looks stupid and is painful to watch. Are you allergic to any type of learning or lessons? It's sad that Rainier worked so hard to build up Monaco and just baffling that he left his legacy to be destroyed by Albert. I don't see how Albert can continue as Sovereign as he is a complete failure, but he will refuse to leave for any reason and with Charlene by his side, it will be even harder to get him to see reality. Sadly, I will probably continue to watch this as it is like a train wreck, airplane crash, and building implosion combined. Who could think that someone given so much could make such a total disaster of everything? Sorry for the long post, but seeing the photos just struck me as the end of an era.

I'm wondering how long before the 'lounge' becomes nameless. One would have to be very shallow to go there to buy jewelry because of Charlene. I doubt she has any understanding of gems only the price tag.
I'm amazed at how many supposedly smart people have bought into this flagship idea. If Charlene was such a draw, we would have known about her long ago. And you don't have to be a champion at your sport to do this. Remember Anna Kournakova (sic), the Russian tennis player? She never won a tournament, but she had the allure and became rich through endorsements. The press still covers her and she hasn't played a tennis match in years. Now that is flagship potential, but not this little uneducated person who washed up on Monaco's shores.

In these photos from the royal exhibit, Charlene looks drugged, sedated and Albert actually looks a bit happy to be with Charlene. Makes me wonder what is going on behind the scenes. Did they make a pact of some sort and Albert thinks he has gotten the upper hand? But they still don't look like a couple; instead they are two people who know each other who both happen to be at the exhibit at the same time. Sorry, but I still have no urge to travel to Monaco for vacation.

Albert is trying to prove a 'negative', i.e., that Charlene did NOT try to flee Europe and the wedding and head home to South Africa. It is normally very hard to prove a negative, especially when he doesn't even know the date and time that l'Express is talking about. They were very careful in what they put in their article. Most strategically thinking people would not have tried to prove that Charlene did not do something; they would just deny it quickly and then let the whole thing drop. Albert in trying to prove a 'negative' is telling more than he should. For instance, my husband would not go to an event without me and then tell me to get there on my own and find him somewhere in the party. He might go ahead, but I would text him when I arrived and he would come out to the parking lot and get me. Either he told the captain to not let her on or he really didn't care if she showed up which shows how little respect he has for his wife. Further, it is telling that we have this big interview about l'Express and Eringer and then Albert does not want to explain in detail about the missing funds? Something that directly affects his citizens. This tells us where his priorities are as head of state; and it's certainly not with improving the citizen's lives, but in not looking a fool because he married a con artist. How reassuring he is. MyaDia, you asked earlier why Charlene choose to say nothing during the interview when something had been prepared for her to say. Maybe she has been reading our forum and took our advice to just shut up.
