A 22-year-old man was jailed April 27, 2006 for three months for insulting Princess Stephanie of Monaco. The man confronted the Princess and made derogatory comments about her appearance as she left a restaurant in the Principality with her former husband Daniel Ducruet and her children. According to a witness, Ducruet then fought with the man, who was found guilty of defamation and provocation. He was sentenced to serve three months in prison.

This is horrible. In October 2007, Monaco's cathedral organist Marc Giacone escaped a sentence of six months in prison after mocking the prince and other officials on his website. He was fined 2,000 euros for defamation and injury against the prince and other high-level officials.

I wonder if Albert put money into Akris - perhaps that's what they have teamed up with this dope so willingly. oney is tight and I have little doubt he was in need of investors. If PA did, they really don't have a choice but to shine a light on CW - another reason for PA to invesy. I've noticed that the Grimaldis have Mont Blanc sponsoring events and Gucci also has Princess Grace holiday bag. Faberge Princess Grace de Monaco perfume. I don't know what else. Maybe the Grimaldi family is seeking sponsorship from high end brands to promote the glamour image.

Does no one in the palace knows that after labour day, or first weekend of September, it is bad fashion to wear white??? And don't get me started with the white shoes! If this was MY man I would make sure he looked 'Fine!' I do have some pride I was wondering that too, maybe this is just a USA unwritten fashion rule. Labor Day is only in the USA so I don't know what the black or white rules are for royals/nobles.

I hope she is not having more surgeries. She looked OK before all of the surgeries, (except for fixing her teeth). I'm anti breast implants because they look so strange. All of the Grimaldi women are small to average in the bust area and Charlene looked just fine without implants. I really really hope she stops with the tweaking of her looks.

Monaco will welcome any positive publicity. They need it. Charlotte and her siblings (Stephanie's kids too) are polite and attract positive publicity. The extended family appears to be doing their bit for Monaco. Also Charlotte represents Monaco with her equestrian sport. I wonder if she and Pauline will enter into the Olympics.

In Eringer's formspring, a poster said that there are magazine articles detailing Charlene's surgeries and the article was posted on RO. Where is this article?

MadamConcorde, you almost got your camera into Albert's face! ;D ;D ;D I love it!!!! Great time partying with my yachties friends tonight. No prince or princesses in sight - much better that way. Everything was relaxed and good fun. Tomorrow night will be a different story with showy official stuff and fluff. Friend's boat PR told me that Albert may very well be spending time on their boat. I will dress as the perfect yachtie and will be on the lookout. No worries as I will be on friendly territory. ;D What is proper yachtie attire? Sounds like lots of fun and I really enjoy your pictures.

Oh trust, I will eventually re-open the board to visitors. Closing the board to visitors is what they want! They do not want people to read what we have to say. I will make all displayed photos to links. So, this will take some time. Besides, since I closed the board, I had 10 new requests for memberships. Making all of the displayed photos to links will take quite a long time. After a post is made, the poster has only a few hours change the post or photo. What if you allow posters maybe a day or two to go back and change all of their own photos to links. That would save you quite a lot of time.

I've been aware of Princess Caroline since her first marriage in 1978. Like all of us, she has grown older and aged, but as she grows older she still has that poise and grace that she was born with. Even in strange or odd couture she carries herself so well. This blue dress is ordinary looking but she makes it look so casual chic.

Just a suggestion. To check your own picture posts and make sure that none of your pictures have been replaced with a risque picture, click on your own forum name, scroll down to "recent activity" and enter the number of posts you want to view, in the "View most recent posts" option and click on "submit". This way you can look at your most recent or all of your posts. Look at your pictures and notify the moderator if any are now replaced with risque pictures. This happened to me. I used tinypic to post a photo, it disappeared from my tinypic account (I've changed my password for tinypic) and my posted photo was replaced with a topless model picture.

Caroline wore this dress in 2009 to the Monaco Pic Nic. Stylish then too!

Thanks a lot!! All these years I have been wondering why and how she died. Basically what nobody talks about. Lady Di and Grace are two of my very favorite ladies of all times. Mine too and they both died in tragic accidents all too soon, leaving behind a family that really needed them. There are other royal ladies that I respect but there's something about both of them that seem to reach out across the pages of a magazine or through the lens of the camera that portrayed loveliness and grace.

Well, I'm not surprised that pressure has been put on proboards to harass anyone that criticizes the Monaco noble family. Remember what happened to the Monegasque man that played the organ in the Monaco cathedral? He went to jail for creating a blog that criticized his prince. Being an American I strongly support anyone's right to express themselves, even if the opinion offends me and I don't agree with it.
Posting photo links using tinypic will solve the copyright problem won't it? It is possible to restrict just the Monaco threads of the forum to posters only. But I don't know what good that would do. Some of the Monaco supporters are already posters so if the Monaco threads are restricted, the Monaco supporters are already "in".
I'd like to know, exactly how many people read these forums to form their opinion on Monaco? Not many I'd imagine. More damage is done by the press and I don't think that a journalist like Diane Sawyer would read RO before an interview with Prince Albert. Besides, few in the USA really care or know who Prince Albert is. The press that Monaco needs to worry about is the French, Italian, German, Spanish and British press and I doubt that any of these journalists go to RO for their information.

The Daily Mail chose such an awful photo of Queen Rania of Jordan, her eyebrows are raised and she looks like she is saying ffffsssss. She is much more beautiful that that photo.

Prince Rainer once said in an interview that Princess Stephanie told him that, "Mommy panicked and didn't know what to do, she lost control." Also Prince Rainier reported that his daughter tried to pull on the hand brake, but that didn't help stop the car. Princess Grace had been having terrible migraines for a long period of time and also had them during the week that she died. Gweyn Robbyns, her biographer spoke to Princess Grace just prior to accident and reported that Princess Grace complained of her terrible headaches. It is assumed that she had a TIA, a small mini stroke that would have made her a bit tired and confused for a short period of time. Unfortunately this mini stroke happened when she was driving on a notoriously dangerous road. news.google.com/newspapers?nid=1346&dat=19830220&id=WZQsAAAAIBAJ&sjid=uvsDAAAAIBAJ&pg=6683,1082481
