Oh trust, I will eventually re-open the board to visitors. Closing the board to visitors is what they want! They do not want people to read what we have to say. I will make all displayed photos to links. So, this will take some time.
Besides, since I closed the board, I had 10 new requests for memberships.

Instead of worrying about running their little "principality", they are more concerned about what we "commoners" have to say about them? Unreal.... Just goes to show what can happen when u have too much money, too much time and not too many brain cells...lol.

Just goes to show what can happen when u have too much money, too much time and not too many brain cells...lol. Exactly! Albert has lived in his own bubble for a very long time, and it worked fine for him while his father was alive and running the show. Now that he is "the boss" he can't have the luxury of sticking his head in the sand any longer. He can no longer ignore what is going on around him and only read news and articles that are served to him on a silver platter. A 53 year old head of state that doesn't use Internet?!!! Are you kidding me?!!! And now his dumb and un-educated wife is becoming same as him. Bossing people around, threatening anyone who dares to say something "unpleasant" about her, firing people and demanding to be respected...she must be kidding too!!!

I doubt people at the Palace are contacting agencies. If they wanted to shut this board down, they'd get their lawyers to contact ProBoards and claim defamation or libel. This is probably just one of the sugarboards trying to make trouble for RO.

i KNOW they were instrumental in trouble at the red forum, as hard as it is to believe that they don't have anything better to do than mess with our little band, i'd bet a buck trashlene and her flying monkey flunkies are behind some of the trouble. they can try that gambit> libel< ROFL, but in the US there is such a thing as freedom of speech (which an OPINION board is all about, they're so stupid i imagine they can't quite undestand the concept)
it's usually easy to scare off the sugah's, all you have to do is say boo and they scurry away like the frightened little rats they are, they disappeared quick after a flurry of PM's trying to start trouble, as soon as they realized we were going to share it with the board they STFU and left us alone to laugh at them. pitiful and pathetic, delusional and crazy JMO
i'm sure they'll join just to keep up, it's a compulsion to see what's being said, the sugah boards aren't enough, they want the world to see her fashion iconism and embrace the saviour of moronaco, glorify and adore her and people think the church of mary people are nuts LOL

Making all of the displayed photos to links will take quite a long time. After a post is made, the poster has only a few hours change the post or photo. What if you allow posters maybe a day or two to go back and change all of their own photos to links. That would save you quite a lot of time.

The RO situation has now made it's way onto Eringer's blog. People are cheering us on not to let them silence us. We are definitely getting under somebody's skin. I think the copyright issue is just a tactic. It won't work. We are still entitled to our opinions. JMO.

How does someone like Parez Hilton get away with what he does with photos? Does it have something to do with changing a photo enough from it's original form to something one can then claim as "their own new work of art"? Artists do it all the time. Hibou explain - you must know. Could we do something tot he photos like put put a hat on someone or give them a beard...etc.? Something like what khillaree has done in the past? (Without doing so much work! Khil- for anyone who doesn't know is one of our members who has a great sense of humor - esp when it comes to photoshopping.) If I take a photo someone else took, and I change it to make it my own work of art - I think can do whatever I want with it. Just a thought.
Also, because this board is called

I ACCIDENTALLY POSTED BEFORE I WAS FINISHED! SORRY.
This board it called Royal OPINIONS - so everything posted should be automatically considered someone's OPINION. It is stated in the rules, I believe, that this board is for people's OPINIONS so even if something is stated as fact, it still should be covered under the rules of the board as an opinion. Perhaps it should be stated even more clearly that anything said or written on this board is ALWAYS considered to be someone's opinion - even if it sound like stated fact. (Unless we know for sure it to be a fact - like "they were married" - we all can read between the lines - and we can send each other PM's if we want clarification on something.) I try to write JMO or IMO whenever I remember, but sometimes I forget.
Someone's probably freaking out because of that last awful unretouched photo that got out and was put on the board where she looked like she was pushing 60+! (Might be Stahl's revenge - and it just might be her revenge they are scared of!) Just some thoughts.

Why I'm not surprised that someone wants to close RO? 'Issues' with photos are only pretext. I still can't get how 'they' could access some posters tinypic accounts and replace photos with some weird pictures? But I know little about computers. MyAdia, you do a great job, thanks for keeping this forum! I wouldn't keep this forum only for members. This exactly what those who hate this forum want. They don't want the public to know the truth 'bout Charlene & Albert. Remember guys, the palace PR tries to create the New Charlene, fake her past; we are one of the few places on the internet where WC's past & facts bout her relationship with Albert are openly discussed. I'm afraid that tough times are coming for this forum & Myadia. Sorry, Myadia, I should cheer you up, but yeah I feel it'll get worse. The best is to ignore the palace flunkies.

Whether the palace wants to shut the forum down or not copyright issues are a big problem on the internet. A friend of mine has had a forum dedicated to a band for more than 15 years and he has never had any problems. But then suddenly about half a year ago he was sued by a photographer because his pics were posted on the forum without permission. They settled out of court in the end and my friend just had to pay a small compensation but it was a shock. That's why I usually just post the links to editorials or pics but well, I also posted a couple of pics directly. I'm sorry for that, Myadia, I've modified all my posts now so you don't have all the work. I don't think that the palace can shut the forum down because of the opinions that are posted here but because of violation of law they can. So we should be very careful. Thanks Myadia for all your hard work!

I don't think that the palace can shut the forum down because of the opinions that are posted here but because of violation of law they can. So we should be very careful. Thanks Myadia for all your hard work! Sound advice. With the advent of the internet, photographers and photographic agencies are becoming more vigilant about their intellectual property. Yes, it's all about money and control of their property. Artists are in a sticky situation these days. Duchamp's work of the Mona Lisa (He drew a beard on her) would probably encounter problems with Leonardo if the two were still alive. Warhol's Campbell's soup cans could have had enormous problems, but the major shareholder of Campbell's soup was an art collector and wisely saw the benefit of the painting in terms of free advertizing. It's now an iconic image. It just depends on the situation. Artists still have the freedom to take images and change them, but we live in a litigious society (Albert is the poster child for this stuff) so artists do have to watch their backs. Art as social commentary is fine as long as they are careful, and sometimes need to get permission if they use another artists image. Tough world. As far as our comments, I think we are free to state our opinions, but I would be careful on name calling. For example media whore seems acceptable to most while calling someone a whore seems not. Take a look at some of the defamation lawsuits lately both here and in Europe. Courtney Love was sued by someone for tweeting her opinion of them. Had she written it privately, I doubt the other woman would have had been able to sue. Courtney lost the case and had to pay up. So that brings us to the question of a private forum vs. not. It's a word usage issue if you ask me. It's like some one getting offended because some said "fat chance" yet if the person said instead, "tremendously obese possibility" the person might or might not be offended. Stupid, yes, but legally, another question all together. The Grimaldi's have made a healthy living suing magazines. L'Express stands behind it's story which is why I want to know the outcome. Eringer has aired enough dirt to crumble Monaco yet they could only go after him for a few of his statements. It's a fine line these days. JMO.

It worked for Spain. Look at Letizia. She was Known in Puerto Vallarta (Mexico) as the "Queen of Puerto Vallarta" , she did whatever she wanted in Mexico, she posed naked for a Cuban artist, whom he said he was NEVER going to change his story about her, and was NEVER going to sell her paint. He also said he was contacted by Palace and ask him to change his story. He said he was NEVER going to do that. I don't know how much he was paid, but now he says "he dreamed Letizia like that, he imagined her like that" . Nobody remembers now Letizia IS been married twice. She has have more plastic surgery than Charlene, and everybody ADORES Letizia. Albert and peps must think, it worked for Spain, it works for us. I haven't been able to read anything negative about Letizia in years!!
So, yes, IMO Palaces do have people reading blogs, watching tv, listening to radio shows to know how their Royals are seen by the public. If Myadia was hacked, it would not be a surprise to know who did it. I don't think it is just the fans of Charlene, I think is higher than that. Again, I am all for conspiracies :-)
JMHO = just my humble opinion, read again, O P I N I O N = freedom of speech
:-)

WAIT YOU MEAN if i call trashlene a whore.....and they sue me, they'd have to PROVE in US COURT she ISN"T a WHORE??? ROFL leave it to the flying monkey flunkies to think that would be a good move, more PR fails, more exposure of his dictatorship and corruption.
COME ON if he ruled a country as poor as NORTH KOREA he'd be in the axis of evil, he has the character of a dictator, he even wears the funny uniforms. if his postage stamp (i love that description and most articles tend to use it) country had oil or was poor, we be trying to overthrow him. little kimmy jong and FatAl have much more in common>> both corrupt, little men that live in their own little world. YEP if the house was on fire>>> no question....i'd let them BOTH burn before i called 911
OH IMO trashlene is a concubine, if they wish to construe that means she's a whore, why (in deepest southern drawl) that's just their interpertation
i think the flying monkey flunkies and trashlene are freaking out we're putting the un-touched photos up instead of what they want out. linking to the photo agency and us looking at them and coming back to discuss isn't that big a deal to me (shrug) we've never been about photos, they CANNOT stop our discussions and the more they try, the more we expose them, the dumber they look....OH WAIT they can't look any dumber, they're already the laughingstock of the media world, all except their little nook of france and italy (shrug) they still don't amount to a hill of beans in the big picture and THAT my friends must drive them crazy.
JMO if we're annoying them so much they're wasting energy on us instead of saving moronaco, more power to us CLAPCLAPCLAP we must be doing something right.
wee hoo, i was getting bored with the whole sad pathetic show (it's like the circus left town) NOW we have a purpose....to needle the hell out of these clowns, to the barricade ya'll this is going to be fun

After I re-opened the board to visitors, I just received a third warning from Pro Boards about posting copy-righted examples with the example given the image shack links to Emmeline's Lehti Kuva photos. I have never heard of this Finnish agency until Emmeline first posted the Albert and Andrea hiking photos. It was reported to Pro Boards as soon as the photos were posted - so clearly someone who reads us religiously reported it. I highly doubt that Lehti Kuva is going around the Internet and checking imageshack links to see if their photos are posted. There is no need to post photos from Lehti Kuva about the two events that Emmeline posted their photos - these photos are in several other places where posters can view them. So please do not post their photos here or any links to their photos.
